Brooklyn-based New York Puzzle Company showed the latest addition to its line of New Yorker-licensed product at last week's Toy Fair: a double-deck playing cards set, one deck devoted to New Yorker cat cartoons, the other to the magazine's dog cartoons.
"It's the best game of solitaire you'll ever play," said the company's Adam Silver.
The set joins New York Puzzle's New Yorker merchandise offerings also including jigsaw puzzles and tote bags.
Meanwhile, the company displayed a major addition to its Harry Potter line: the Harry Potter Mini Puzzle Collector's Set of 100-piece puzzles of all the Potter books' original book cover art.
Also on prominent display was the supplier's new NASA space travel poster puzzle and National Geographic puzzles depicting fold-out maps first published in the magazine.
